What your business needs online
A website is no longer a business card. It is where a new customer decides whether to trust you, where an existing one looks for your catalog or your phone number and, more and more, where the business happens: orders, bookings, payments, questions.
"Website" can mean very different things, so it helps to know which one you need.
What we build
- Corporate websites. Your company, your services and how to reach you, clear and fast, in one language or several.
- Online stores. Catalog, cart and payments, with the admin tools your team needs.
- Portals and web apps. A place where your customers check their orders, invoices or service, and where your team does its work.
- Android and iOS apps. For your team in the field or for your customers.
- UI and UX design. Screens designed around the person who will use them, before any code.
A site people can find and read
A site nobody finds does nothing for you. From the first design, we look after what helps people find and understand you:
- Speed. A slow page loses visitors before it shows up.
- Clear structure. Headings, links and addresses that make sense to a person and to a search engine.
- Text that does not depend on JavaScript. What matters is in the HTML.
- The right language. If the site is bilingual, each version declares its language and its equivalents.
- Accessibility. Contrast, keyboard use and screen readers are part of the design, not a patch at the end.
Built for phones first
Most visits now come from a phone. We design for small screens first and larger ones after, and we test with touch, not only with a mouse.
Working with a nearshore team
Because our team is in Nicaragua, between zero and two hours from continental US time zones, design reviews and questions happen during your workday. We work in English and Spanish, which is useful if your customers are in both.
How we work
- Discover. We learn about your business and what you want to achieve. You get a proposal with a defined scope and price.
- Design. Screens and structure you can review before they are built.
- Build. Depending on the project, you see the work as it moves forward; for highly custom projects, we send drafts of what we have so far.
- Deploy. We launch, train your team and either keep supporting the system or hand over everything documented.
Some of our work
A sample of our mobile work is the Rent-a-Car Android app, which goes with the vehicle rental system. You can read its case, or browse all of our work.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you build bilingual websites?
- Yes. Each language is written for its own audience rather than translated word for word, with its own addresses and the right signals for search engines.
- What is the difference between a website and a web app?
- A website presents your business and brings in customers. A web app does work: a portal where customers check their orders, an internal dashboard for your team, a booking system. Many businesses need both.
- Can you build a mobile app for my team?
- Yes, for Android and iOS. It makes sense when your team works in the field, or needs the phone to take photos, record data or look up information away from a computer.
- Do you also handle the design?
- Yes. UI and UX design is done by the same team that builds, so what you see on the screens is something we can actually build.
- How much does a website or an app cost?
- It depends on the scope. Before we start you get a proposal with a defined scope and price, so you know what you are buying and can compare it.
